SEED COMMISSION CALL-OUT!

Wiltshire Creative are delighted to offer a Seed Commission to one artist from the Global Majority, as part of the co-producing partnership with our Autumn musical Play On!

Supported by Wiltshire Creative and Talawa Theatre Company, the Commission will support a new idea or early work in progress from any artistic medium and will amplify the voices of people who are currently under-represented in the creative arts sector. The opportunity will include a residency in Salisbury in February 2025, with rehearsal space and a chance to share the work with industry professionals.

On Thursday 24th October 2024 we will host a networking morning at 11.00 am to 1pm at Salisbury Playhouse, allowing artists to ask questions and explore their ideas with local creatives before applications for the seed commission open at the end of October. You’ll also get the chance to meet some of the team at Wilshire Creative. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to see the matinée performance of Play On! that afternoon at 2.15 pm, with a £5 ticket.
