This weekend Salisbury Arts Centre was lit up orange in support of the United Nations' "Orange the World" initiative to raise awareness and take action to end violence against women and girls.
As a bright and optimistic colour, orange represents a future free from violence against women and girls, something we at Wiltshire Creative support vehemently. It was very powerful to use our venue, as a hub of inclusive, cultural activity for all, to support and raise awareness for such an important cause.
To further our support for this initiative, Wiltshire Creative staff and volunteers will take part in associated training sessions in 2024, including:
